Tip - Create a Newsletter in Word 2007

Itís really quick and easy to create a stylish Newsletter in Microsoft Word 2007. There are a whole range of templates available that can be quickly downloaded and installed into the Word Program with a single click!

1. Open the Microsoft Word 2007 program from the icon on the Desktop:

2. Click on the Start Menu in the top left and select New, you will see the templates available

3. Scroll down to Newsletters and click on each icon to preview the different templates

4. You can select the Family Newsletter template as shown below, then click Download

5. Click on the Start Menu in the top left and select Save As, save the document with an appropriate location and file name as shown below:

7. Begin by updating the banner, select the text and re-type your own heading as shown below:

8. Now update the image; Click on the picture in the template, go to the Insert Tab and select Picture, browse your computer to locate your own photo, click on your photo and select Insert

9. Next, update the quote under the image by selecting the text and re-typing your own

10. Complete the Newsletter by writing your article over the text in the template

11. Click Save, to save your changes

12. When itís ready you can convert the Newsletter to a .PDF document; Click on the Start Menu and select Save As, click on the Save As Type drop down and choose PDF, save the document with an appropriate location and file name. (PDF documents keep the formatting and canít be changed)
