How to create an email signature in Windows Mail
Email signatures can be a handy way of supplying your name, department, contact and or company details without having to worry about type it each time you create a message. A signature can be configured so that it appears in the footer or at the bottom of emails you send.
You can create your own signature in Windows Mail by completing the following steps:
1. Open Windows Mail
2. Click the “Tools” menu and then Click “Options”
3. Click the ‘Signatures’ Tab and click “New”. Signature #1 now appears in the signatures field. You can rename your signature by using the rename button.
4. By selecting the radio button (Placing a dot) next to the word “Text’, you are ready to type up your signature.
5. 5. Once your signature is complete, Tick the box ‘Add signatures to all outgoing messages’ and press ok
Messages you now send will contain your signature.

Tip – Lost Internet Connection, Can’t Send Email? Power cycle the modem!
If you loose internet connection (meaning you can’t access web pages) and you’re not able to send emails (there is an error that says “Cannot connect to mail.vicnet.net.au server”), don’t panic! You may be able to fix this problem quickly yourself!
The first thing we try when this happens is “Power cycling the modem”. So if the problem occurs for you, try this….
