What is this symbol ¶ ? |
|
It is the show/hide symbol. Click on this symbol on the toolbar and it will display all the non-printing symbols of your document. Some people use it to assist them in editing their documents. When it is on, each time you type on the space bar will see a dot on the screen. Arrows represent the tab key and the symbol is shown each time you hit the enter key to begin a new line or sentence. |
