How to scan for spyware using Ad-aware 2007

  1. Once you have opened ad-aware and installed updates this is the main screen you will see. Click the "Scan" tab to take you to the scanning options page.

  2. Select the option "Full Scan" and click "Scan" again to being scan process

  3. Once the scanning for spyware has completed it will show a summary on what it has found. Firstly It shows the "Crictical Objects". Click the "Privacy Objects" to view them.

  4. To remove all items select the "Critical Objects" or "Privacy Objects" tab. Check all the tickboxes and click "Finish"
  5. Once all objects have been removed a summary page is shown. Now your computer is spyware free
